Dr Garcia-Garcia is a postdoctoral researcher in Materials Science and Engineering at the CSIC. He holds a 1st class Master’s degree in Physics at the University of Seville and a PhD in Electrochemistry and Metallurgy from the Corrosion and Protection Centre at the School of Materials of The University of Manchester. He holds some post-doctoral appointments in both aqueous corrosion of metals and electrochromic devices, although he has been recently involved in the development of thin films at the nanometric scale for Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFCs) and biological applications.

Specialist Subjects: Electrochemistry, corrosion science, semiconducting oxides as electrochromic sensors, thin films for SOFCs and biological applications.
